Usher’s New Look nonprofit receives $ 500,000 grant for financial literacy programs

Usher’s New Look (UNL), a non-profit organization founded by the R&B superstar in 1999, recently announced that it had received a large donation. The Truist Foundation gave $ 500,000 to UNL to support its high school leadership program, particularly its financial literacy initiatives, according to a press release.

The $ 500,000 is the latest amount given to UNL by the Truist Foundation, which has already donated a total of $ 1.5 million over five years to help the company’s mission.
