The El Paso Association organizes a basketball and bowling league for people with disabilities
EL PASO, Texas–The Miracle League of El Paso provides children with disabilities the opportunity to play sports regardless of their abilities; currently they are bringing back their bowling program and starting a new one for basketball.
The organization has no employees; all those who help are volunteers. Sometimes even get help from school teams, like the UTEP ladies football team and the Americas High School baseball team.
Covid has slowed down its activities; since then, they bring back one by one its programs and launch its new basketball league.
The Miracle League is hosting a parent meeting on April 21 at 7:30 p.m. for those who want to join in basketball or bowling; it will happen in Ponder Park at 7500 WH Burges Dr., on the grounds of the Miracle League.
