Nonprofit Developer Keeps Eye on Former Kmart Site to Create Affordable Housing for Seniors

FARGO, ND (Valley News Live) – A nonprofit developer has plans for the old Kmart site on University Drive.

Fargo-based “Beyond Shelter,” has plans to develop affordable housing for the elderly.

The proposed project would take place in two phases and consist of two buildings of 46 units each.

Facilities would also include a community hall, library and fitness center.

It is not yet known when the plans for the project will be finalized.
