Non-profit members treated with special insight
JACKSON, Tenn. — An organization gives back to the community.
On Friday, several non-profit organizations in the region were invited to see ballet arts‘ last dress rehearsal for ‘Peter Pan’.
It was free and each non-profit organization received a set number of tickets.
Artistic director Caroline Meinert says as she navigated the COVID-19 pandemic, she wanted to find a way to give back.
“As I really stepped into this position, I knew I wanted us to start reaching out to our community more because our community is so wonderful at giving back and supporting us, and I really wanted to find a way for us to give back to them. support too,” Meinert said.
Meinert says “Peter Pan” opens to the public on Saturday, March 19.
There is a show at 10 a.m. and another at 7 p.m.
There will also be a matinee show on Sunday at 2 p.m.
